Happy Anniversary To Us!

This was SO much fun! Everyone should go here. It wasn't just a delicious meal it was an experience. If you don't live close by go to www.themeltingpot.com and find their nearest location to you. Go for a very special occasion and you will NOT regret it. I should get a commission for this shouldn't I?

Here we are after they made the cheese fondue at our table. Yummy! We dipped squares of bread and other things into the cheese. They made all the fondue at the table so we could see what they put in it. That was neat. As you can see we are leaning in so we can both fit into the picture. We had an awesome waiter that offered to take some pictures for us.
Above Michael is getting ready to dip the bread into the cheese and of course I had to get a picture.
Yeah, I am sure a plate of raw meat doesn't look really good but it sure was once we were done cooking it. Oh my! I think I could have dipped a piece of cardboard in it and it would have been good. We had shrimp, chicken, beef, pork, potstickers, salmon, ravioli. This plate may not look like much but we were STUFFED when we were done. Probably could have skipped the chocolate foundue at the end and not been too full. Oh we also had a salad that was yummy!
Here you can see the pot we cooked the meat in. This was sitting on a cooktop in the middle of the table. He brought broccoli, mushrooms, and squash to throw in there too. They were cooking while we used our fondue forks to cook the meat.
Michael looks like a pro doesn't he? Want to know a little secret? He didn't want to go. He basically told me that he was only going for me. Well, guess what? He was amazed and can't wait to go back. Maybe I should get a job so we can start the "Fondue Fun Fund" .
Well, I am sure you have guessed what is happening here can't you? Oh my, this was fun! We dipped banana's, pineapple, and even marshmallows. They even gave us squares of brownies! Yum! We joked that instead of going to Eureka Springs we went out to dinner but it was SO worth it. Now I have to figure out how to come up with enough to take the whole family some time!
