A Funny Story

This is something I wrote during the summer. Apparently, I forgot to post it. ~Kim

I have a funny story for you. Well, I hope you think it is funny. Today is mowing day for Catrina and I am encouraging her to get out there and get it done EARLY. It has been over 100 degrees for the last several days so mowing at noon is NOT going to be fun at all.

Anyway, it reminded me of a time she mowed several weeks ago.

I looked outside and saw Catrina running towards me sounding like she was about to cry. Apparently, where she was mowing she kept seeing big nasty spiders all over the place. I saw one and it was pretty creepy! She was afraid they were going to climb up her legs while she was walking a long. Well, I had to think of something. Can't have my daughter mowing and crying and in fear for her life.

I came up with what I thought was the PERFECT SOLUTION to bring peace to my daughters heart. See if you can figure it out from my photos below-

you may have to click on them to enlarge them.

In the picture below you can see they have a little observer.

You can see a little high stepp'in going on below.

Here we have the mighty warriors coming back from battle!

Poor Catrina. I am appalled at the kinds of conditions you have to work in. Ask you mom how long I would have lasted out there with spiders!!! Love, Aunt Sherry

Thanks for the comment Sherry! It is sad what my children have to do isn't it? ;-)

Reminds me of the spider in our apartment years ago. Remember the neighbor downstairs said, "if its that big put a saddle on it and ride it down here". He was such a smar aleck wasn't he? ~Kim
