Christmas Cookie Exchange 2007

I had the Christmas Cookie Exchange again this year (for my homeschool support group). The Great Cookie Exchange of 2007 is but a memory now and hopefully not a few extra pounds. We do still have cookies to help us think of it fondly.
It turned out well. I had a last minute glitch that sent me rushing, last minute to the grocery store. That was pretty nerve wracking to say the least! I kept thinking, Oh my gosh, I can't be late for my own cookie exchange! How terrible would it be for everyone to be waiting on ME! Ugh! I made it in plenty of time but less stress would have been nice.
I had a lot more helpers this year so that was a huge blessing. I had 4 of the ladies on my team that helped. They were SO great! Celeste even printed out the recipes and put them in the darling book at the end of this post. Too cute! My team is AWESOME this year!
We had a really good group of ladies that know how to bake and know how to present their creations.

This year, Lynn got the award for "Best Packaging". She made Petite Fours and put them in cute little white boxes with red ribbons around them.

I am really not happy that we didn't get a picture of that. Here is a picture of the table though. You can see all the goodies!

Celeste won for best/most outrageous Christmas attire. Aren't they cute?

If you don't know what Petite Fours look like, you can look at the top of this post to see a picture.

Here are two of my helpers.
(Thank you girls! You were wonderful as usual. I knew I could count on you! )

I may have a few more pictures to add tomorrow. I am hoping my wonderful friend Kathy can help me with one of my dark pictures.
