I have been feeling a bit melancholy lately. I ran across my Senior Picture from High School. I had taken a picture of it with my digital camera. As you can see it is still framed. I was thinking about how I was about the same age as my daughter, Catrina is now at the time it was taken. That is strange. (Can you tell I was going to beauty school during this time?) Then I started thinking about something else. The reason I took this picture. I am trying to decide if I should be offended by this. There are two ways to look at this. What do you think? One way makes me feel a little bit blue. (snicker, snicker)
Here's the deal. It isn't the picture that is making me think maybe I should be offended or sad. It is the location. This picture is hanging IN OUR GARAGE over the workbench. Well, are you laughing now at this sight? Take another look.
As you can see my photo is situated above the electrical outlet.....
and below a license plate. In all fairness this is a very special license plate. It is the one that hubby had made when we were dating. It says, "Michael & Kimberly". I never want to throw it away and since it is well over 18 yrs. old I am guessing hubby wants to keep it too.
I think I will chose to look at it like this. Michael DOES spend a lot of time at his work bench fixing things for us or creating things. I guess I am watching over him while he does it. Hey, I just realized I DO look pretty funny....kind of like I am looking down over the work in a thoughtful way. ;-) Hmmmmm.....
Did I give you a good laugh today? Anybody else have pictures hanging in unusual places?

I have always loved that picture. I actually have it hanging on my livingroom wall. The only problem is that as the grand children came along they were placed in front of that picture. That picture just shows how beautiful you are. Your skin was fauless. I always liked that hair cut. Very flattering. I think it is wonderful that Michael has it in his garage which is one of his favorite places because that is the person her fell in love with. It brings back good memories. Look how far the two of you have come. I'm proud of you both. Love Ya!

You guys are sure nice. Your comments really made me feel good. Then I heard a comment from Hannah. She said, "so what kind of hair cut is THAT? Is it a mullett?" Oh my gosh! She cracks me up. Michael just about fell over he was laughing so hard! Out of the mouth of babes....and 13 yr. olds.
