Great News!

We interrupt this long discussion about dining rooms, kitchens, light fixtures, scraping, blue tape & painting to give you a wonderful report.

This is about my wonderful Dad. If you don't know what has been going on with him you can look at this post and this post.

The main thing is that my Dad went into the hospital for something that was a huge concern at the time. While they were trying to figure out how to deal with one issue they discovered another bigger issue. They found that Dad had a heart attack that nobody knew about and there were blockages. They were not very hopeful about his condition. His heart was apparently working at 20%. There are more details but I want to focus on what God has done.

Dad emailed me last night with some really good news. He had an appointment yesterday and they said his heart that was working at 20% had improved to 30%. The doctor didn't think his heart would improve but it has! Also, the doctor said with care he could get it to 50%. The doctor was VERY pleased with the test results considering how bad my Dad was in January.

As you can imagine words do not express how thrilled I am. I went to visit Dad in March. It seemed like it took forever to get to him. It was horrible.......the planning, the waiting, the canceling, the rescheduling, and then more waiting. It was the best hug ever though. I had waited so long to hug my Dad and it was the best feeling ever. We had a great visit and I can't wait to go back as soon as possible.

Below is part of an email from Dad and I wanted to share it with my faithful blog readers and most importantly my praying friends and family.

Dad, I did some editing so don't get upset or anything. I just wanted to share with your own words. Thanks everyone for praying. God is faithful and your prayers have been answered. Keep praying.

.....plus all the prayers you had people pray for me and all the other prayers have worked. Thank The Lord, they checked my heart and it went from 20 % pumping to 30 % so he said that was good. He even said it quite possibly could improve to about 50 %..... plus I can ride my stationary bike as long as I don’t overdo it. Deb said I should Email tonight so maybe tomorrow you can Thank All Your Friends and other folks ,around there that Along with The Good Lord and all their prayers you have some more good News to put on Your Blog. I love You and Tell all on Your Blog I appreciate their Prayers ,and Thoughts About Me....
