Garage Sale FUN!!!

I just had to post the great deals I got at a garage sale on Saturday. We didn't intend to go to one but we just ran across it. Once we got there we realized it was an Estate Sale. They had an amazing amount of wonderful things. I could have spent SO MUCH money there. I didn't though but I had to show you how I did.

As you can see, I got a rather large picture frame and 4 tupperware containers (most large, one smaller) that are in perfect shape after a good scrubbing. On the left are 2 Fire King bowls. We are pretty sure the smaller one, with a spout is from a Sunbeam mixer. Not sure the use of the other one. We bought one of the bright and cheerful Fire King mugs. On the right is a pretty bowl on a pedestal. I don't know if it is milk glass or not. Either way, I like it. Guess what my total was for all of this? $5.10. How did I do? I think we did pretty well.

I had so much fun and was so excited. My husband was too when he heard the prices they were charging. Later, I asked him to take a picture of me with my garage sale finds.

Oh, I forgot. I did get an old glass jar and this little gem. It isn't crocheted so I don't know how this is made. Anyone know? Michael said, maybe tatting?

If anyone knows anything about the pieces that I purchased let me know.
