So Much For Global Warming!

Below is a small part of a news article I just read.

PARIS (AP) - The world's leading climate scientists said global warming has begun, is "very likely" caused by man, and will be unstoppable for centuries, according to a report obtained Friday by The Associated Press.
The scientists - using their strongest language yet on the issue - said now that world has begun to warm, hotter temperatures and rises in sea level "would continue for centuries" no matter how much humans control their pollution. The report also linked the warming to the recent increase in stronger hurricanes....."

I guess these people haven't been to Oklahoma and haven't heard about all the ice, snow, and cold temps we have had. In the 20 years I have lived here I don't ever remember a winter like this. SO COLD!!!! Geesh

I also suppose they have never read the Bible. They don't know that God told us a long time ago that this planet isn't going to last forever. HE is eventually going to make a new heaven and a new earth. Also, they don't realize there isn't a dog-gone thing mankind can do about it. While I am on this topic why do they think that EVERY living thing is going to live forever (or should)? Yes, creatures do become extinct but there was never a promise that they would not. Nothing on this planet lasts forever. Another secret is that it isn't always mans fault (think dinosaurs). I don't know how long these scientists have been taking temperatures but I can't imagine they have been taking them for thousands of years. How can we compare if we are only comparing the last several hundred years? Really, that is a small amount of time compared to how long ago God created this Earth. I wonder how the temperature would have compared to the temperature in the Garden of Eden. They were running around naked and I am sure they were not too hot or too cold. OK, I will get down off my soapbox now.

Wait, one more thing. If we are already doomed and can't change a thing I say we stop recycling, don't worry about pollution, and waste everything. I mean, really, if nothing mankind can do will help why are they trying so hard to get us to change it?
