Laptops, Game Nights, & Frankoma Pottery

I really wanted to call this post "Dueling Banjos, Laptops". I decided to add more pictures so I didn't. Michael and his Dad were cracking me up. Jerry has been here for several days and we have really enjoyed his visit. He left early this morning to do a 2 day job and then we will meet up with him again on Thanksgiving Day at his parents house close to Branson. (Isn't retirement grand?) Anyway, the father and son techno guys were cracking me up. I walked into the kitchen and saw the image above except they were both staring deeply into their laptops. Sitting only inches a part not saying a word was really funny to see. Father like son you know...they love their technology. When Jerry saw that we had taken a picture he jokingly said, "we are emailing each other". Hmm, I don't know that he was joking 100%. Of course, they had videos and things they wanted to show each other and that was the best way to do it.

Catrina purchased a digital camera from a friend. She dropped hers some time ago and it wouldn't work any more. She was so happy to be able to use her own money (from her own job) to buy her own camera. Here are some pictures she took at High School Game Night.

Grandpa went on a field trip with us to Frankoma Pottery.

I accidentally got my father-in-law in trouble at this place. I saw something neat and asked him to take a picture for me. (I don't have a camera either-it broke!) After he took a couple a woman practically ran over to tell him that pictures weren't allowed! She didn't look happy at all. Sorry I got you in trouble, wonderful and forgiving father- in -law of mine.

I have more pictures but I can't seem to find them. I will try to post them tomorrow.

What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving this year? Any big plans? Leave me a comment and let me me know what you are doing. We are doing our usual....Thanksgiving with the grandparents & family and maybe a trip to Silver Dollar City. Oh, that reminds me, I have cooking to do....gotta go for now!

Indiana is the same as usual. We will be at Aunt's. The only place large enough for all of her grandkids. It will be fun and then great to get home to a quiet house. Have fun and stay safe. We love you. You and your family are what we are thankful for.
