Get Letters from the Mayflower

This looks like fun and I think we will do it.

"Sign up to receive three letters from Lizzy Turner, a 15-year-old girl who traveled on the Mayflower.*

The letters—one from the ship, the second from the Plimoth Colony, and a third about the Thanksgiving feast—will arrive in your email inbox on November 2, 9, and 16.
Your class will get a glimpse of what it might have been like to be a school-age child living on the Mayflower and adjusting to a strange new world.

Each email will also include a multiple-choice question featuring a fun fact that will further pique your students' interest in the journey ahead."

There is a lot more on this site that looks interesting. You can follow the journey and take a tour of the ship. You can even click on a button that causes the text to be read out loud. Really neat!
