Hannah and her sister were at camp the day of Hannah's birthday. Catrina was so nice. She wanted to sneak a birthday cupcake to camp for Hannah. It was tricky but we were able to do it. She was pleasantly surprised from what I heard.
We didn't get to celebrate as a family until the next day (Sunday).
We took her to Red Robin so she could use her "Free Burger" coupon so that was fun for all of us. We had a really nice waiter too. Of course, we told them that she was a birthday girl so they brought her an ice cream sundae (feel better now Dad?) and sang a fun birthday song to her. She loved it all, of course.
After her special dinner out we came home to watch the new movie "Eragon". (FYI...the author of the novel started writing it when he was 15 yrs. old. Also he was homeschooled! ) This is a movie that both girls have been wanting to see for a long time. I thought it was good but whenever you have a talking dragon it has to be good right? ;-)
