Coffe vs.Tea

I thought this was some really neat information. The more I learn the more I realize that what God made is good for us no matter what 'science' tells us. It only makes sense though. The Creator would know what to give HIS creation wouldn't HE? In only a few years butter was bad now it is good, eggs were bad, now they are good, so should we surprised when coffee/tea were bad and now they are good? When butter and eggs were bad we ate them because we felt that the things God made were better for us than what man came up with. We feel we were on the right track and science is now proving that to be correct. As usual, God knows better. ~Kim

This info us from the above website:

Their results? Well, tea seems to be in the lead at the moment, but coffee wasn't far behind. Here's a condensed version of their report:

Tea:

relaxes blood vessels, lowers blood pressure
may prevent: kidney stones, Alzheimer's, and cavities
may help keep bones strong

Coffee:

lowers risk of diabetes
protects against Parkinson's
linked to lower rates of colon and liver cancers
may prevent gallstones
may put certain people who don't metabolize caffeine well at higher risk of a heart attack
is linked to osteoporosis
In addition, caffeine from either beverage may help suppress your appetite. It appears that either drink is a healthy choice for most people. So let's hear it...which one are you drinking?

I found these points very interesting from the above website:

Your Heart: Tea relaxes your blood vessels and lowers blood pressure, which is good for your heart.

Your Brain: Green tea may prevent Alzheimer's disease.

Your Plumbing: Green tea may prevent kidney stones.

Your Risk of Diabetes: Drinking more than four daily cups of coffee lowers the risk of diabetes. Tea has no similar effect.

Your Brain: Coffee protects seniors against Parkinson's disease.

Your Bones: Green tea may help keep bones strong, while studies have linked coffee to osteoporosis in the past.

Weight Control: Caffeine from either source suppresses appetite, but green tea may spur fat metabolism.

Your Mouth: Green tea's main antioxidant may prevent cavities.

If you're not choosy, drink tea. "It's unquestionably better for your heart and has hardly any negative side effect," Vinson said.
