This isn't the best picture of my Dad because it is so dark. I love it though. That's MY Dad! :-)
#4 I am pretty sure I got my sense of humor from my Dad. He is so much fun and so funny! Always joking and being silly. I love that about my Dad. He always comes up with silly and/or funny names. He once named a friend of mine "Pickles" because she loved pickles. Of course, I have had many names over the years. He seems to have stuck with "Kay" for the last several years. I am still trying to figure out if that is because my middle name is Kay or if it has to do with my initials....(or does it have something to do with the long trip, CB radio, and my handle) or is it something else?
Help me out with this Dad. ;-)
#5 Dad hasn't always been a Christian and there was a time I really worried about him in that area. Praise God he is a Christian and that is very important to him. We almost lost Dad several years ago but with the help of God and his wife Dad made it and is still with us today. I am so glad! I couldn't imagine and still can't imagine life without Dad here. Although, I knew Dad would go to heaven I am so thankful to God for not letting Dad leave us too soon. We need him.

He sets a very good example in doing what is pleasing to God and doing the right thing. He has very low tolerance for immorality in this country and on TV.
We should all have standards like his.
#6 My Dad sure loves his family. He sets a very good example in that area too. He loved his parents so much especially his Mother. They had their share of disagreements as all moms & children do but he loved her with all his heart. At least when I was visiting (and I think it was all the time) and spending the night with Grandma (his Mom) he always stopped by on his way to work. He was there with her to the very end and I know if she can she looks down on him with love and pride. Dad loves his wife too. We all know she is awesome and really takes care of him. I am sure he would be lost without her. Of course, as you can already tell he sure loves me. Then there is my wonderful brother that he loves & is proud of too.

Dad is a REAL family man!
#7 Dad is never in a hurry (and somehow never late). I wish I would have taken after him more in this area. LOL I talked to my Dad last night and as I mentioned before he always has time for me, even today. We talked on the phone a long time and had a wonderful visit. He let me go when he realized it was close to my bedtime saying, "you better get ready for bed". Dad has a great memory by the way. He remembers everything I tell him just about. See he still remembers my bedtime after all these years. It is always so nice to visit with Dad.

Thanks again Dad for being there for me and always having time for me. Thanks for always being there for me when I need you. Can't wait til our next "in person" visit.
I love you.
