(Redneck Lawn Ornament)(Above) This was our first glimpse at our new tub. It looks a lot better when it is actually IN the bathroom though.
Here (below) is what it looked like CLOSE to the bathroom. Resting in the hall way.

Then it came out of the bathroom back on the front porch. I looked at the guy and said, "that isn't what is supposed to happen, right? The tub isn't supposed to come back outside is it?" Well, apparently, they make it at the factory but when they get it to your house there is always some adjusting/cutting that needs to be done. It was getting pretty funny when I was talking on the phone to my sister. I kept saying, "there goes my tub again,... oh, it's back, ...there it goes again, ...it's back...". I think it went in and out of the house at least 7 times. If you think about it getting something as big and awkward as a tub in and out of a house, through doorways, once is a bit of a challenge. Doing it 7 or more times gets down right comical.
Here we have the first piece..the ceiling cap. Isn't it lovely? (It is the white piece.)

Here we have a whole wall up! It surrounds the new window we purchase several weeks ago. It looks much better.
Ta da!!!
Isn't that an awesome corner, shower caddy? Remember the "shower caddy" we had before?
Next on the agenda, new lighting, new cabinet and counter tops.I even love the faucets!
There was only one problem with this day.
Oops!
It isn't like it was beautiful new tile so it wasn't as painful as it looks. Let's get back to looking at the loveliness again!
Now to re-cap. Here we have our before, during, and after shots. We are thrilled with Re-Bath. This looks great and it is a pleasure to take a shower or a bath now. Yippee. Excuse me, I have an appointment with my shower. ;-)Before.....

During.....
AFTER shots.....

I have been waiting for the final pictures. The bathroom looks great. I can understand why you love these guys. What a difference. I think it is wonderful that you were able to get this done. The pink floor is definately from the late 40's or 50's. What are the plans for it? Love to the Berners and the New Bathroom in a Day guys.
Thanks! The plans for the pink floor is to get rid of it. It has a lot of cracks and looks really bad. Since it has been there since the 40's or 50's that is no surprise. It is going to take some time but we plan to rip up the floor and Michael wants to tile it. We are going to pull out the cabinet/sink and medicine cabintet. We will replace all of that in addition to the lighting. We will rip off all the wall covering and then paint in there. It is going to look really good when we finally get it done. ~Kim
