Saturday was a busy day around here. Michael did a lot of things around the house so that was great. He fixed our dryer so we don't have to go to the laundromat now. Yippee!! That was the excitement for me.
The exciting thing for Hannah was that her Dad got everything ready for her to plant watermelon seeds. She loves watermelon so I bought her a packet of seeds. I may have done something wrong because of the look of shock on Michael's face when I told him that the packet says it will produce 25-30 lb. watermelons.
Our neighbor was so nice to come over and use his rototiller to make the garden. Here are some pictures.

A few times I was afraid the tiller was going to drag our neighbor off!
I thought this was a neat picture. :-)
When they were done even Sadie was tired!
Hannah came in today very upset. She is just sure that she saw a bird eat one of the seeds that they planted on Saturday. She just went through my pans and found 2 rectangular foil pans and put them on sticks in her garden. She is watching her watermelon garden like a hawk!

I love these pictures and I can't wait to see more as they grow or dead birds. Make a scare crow. Good luck and don't forget to water.
woohoo! Watermelon! I hope you have a very productive garden! Great pictures..
Oh, how neat! We just planted our garden a couple weeks ago too. It's fun to check it each day and I know exactly how she feels about those birds. ;)
