This is what the garden looked like when we got back from our vacation! Wow! Notice how green everything is? That is what you get when you have 17 days of rain in a row. At last count Hannah counted 73 blooms on the plants. Does that mean we are going to have a possibility of 73 watermelons? At 25 pounds each that means we could have 1825 lbs of watermelon!!!!
Since I am showing foliage here are my Black-Eyed Susans. I have the first picture and the 2nd picture shows how much they have grown. I wonder how long it will be until I have some actual flowers. The first picture was before we left and the second picture is when we got back.

The picture above shows how the vines are getting dangerously close to the fence. I don't think we are going to be able to have 25 lb. watermelons hanging off the fence.
